Welcome to the Atlantic Canada Association for Impact Assessment!
Established in 2024, the Atlantic Canada Association for Impact Assessment (ACAIA) is a member-based professional association of impact assessment practitioners. The purpose of the ACAIA is to improve the quality of impact assessment (IA), including processes, methods, and outcomes, and to promote its effective use to support better planning and decision-making.
This will be achieved by providing a forum for IA practitioners and participants in Atlantic Canada to engage, learn, innovate, and collaborate with each other and like-minded organizations and people.
