Committees and Working Groups

From time to time, the board of directors may establish a committee or working group, as it deems necessary or appropriate, to support the fulfilment of the purpose of the ACAIA.  Any committee or working group established by the board shall be comprised of members in good standing who agree to serve on the committee or working group.  Committee or working group members shall be appointed by the board.  The board shall establish terms of reference for any committee or working established by it, which shall, at a minimum, state the mandate of the committee or working group, articulate how and when the committee or working group shall report to the board, specify any deliverables required to be prepared by the committee or working group, and set the financial terms the committee or working group is to operate (if applicable). 

Opportunities to serve on committees or working groups will be communicated to ACAIA members by the board.
