Board of Directors

The activities of the ACAIA are guided by a board of directors.

Any ACAIA member in good standing is entitled to nominate an individual, including themselves, or to be nominated for election as a director of ACAIA.  Nominations for election as a director are subject to any policy regarding elections that may be established by the board pursuant to  the by-laws.  Elections will be held during the annual general meeting of members.

The current board of directors (as of December 2024) is an interim board, comprising the individuals who established the ACAIA as a federal non-profit corporation.

The interim board of directors includes:

• Celesa Horvath, based in Nova Scotia

• Denis Marquis, based in New Brunswick

• Donald Maynard, based in Prince Edward Island

• Mike Atkinson, based in Nova Scotia

• Steve Bonnell, based in Newfoundland and Labrador
